Building Foundations Learning Academy (BFLA) is a private, inner-city childcare center dedicated to educating Atlanta’s 21st-century learners. Opened since 2008, the center has been preparing local youth in underserved areas to become future leaders, entrepreneurs, innovators and community servants both home and abroad.

The academy is designed to take young minds’ neighborhood experiences and transform them into fun, relatable lessons about worlds outside of their norm with the guidance of certified educators. Providing Quality Rated childcare, BFLA’s highly rated programs and customized curriculum caters to gifted to special needs students.

While staying aligned with the Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards, the academy also includes opportunities for toddlers to teenagers to engage in extracurricular activities that explore science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics — better known as STEAM fields. Additionally, BFLA offers special programs like violin, Zumba, gardening, taekwondo, Spanish and financial workshops to develop students holistically and culturally.
